In honor of Valentine's Day and the most spectacularly awesome Z-couple ever,

and

have teamed up to bring you an entire week of Gh/Vi! ^^

We derive our inspiration for this project from the Zutarians over in the Avatar fandom who set up something much like this last summer. In an effort to follow their example, Gohan&Videl Week was born! Basically, this is an entire week dedicated to creating more art and fiction for Gh/Vi from the best and brightest artists and writers of our community. There will be a theme designated to each day of this week (which will last seven days; February 14th - 20th) that our participants will have to utilize in their works.

1 ) Lust (Feb 14th)
2 ) Envy (Feb 15th)
3 ) Greed (Feb 16th)
4 ) Wrath (Feb 17th)
5 ) Gluttony (Feb 18th)
6 ) Sloth/Laziness (Feb 19th)
7 ) Pride (Feb 20th)

That's right, we used the Seven Deadly Sins XD What's more fun and romantic than being naughty?

There are NO prizes for participation, only a pat on the back for supporting Gh/Vi. Really, do you even need more than that?

Also, be aware that if you sign up for Gohan&Videl Week that you HAVE to participate for each theme. You don't have to do anything spectacular for each one, but we ask that you submit SOMETHING in honor of this beloved couple.

To sign up just send the club a NOTE and you'll be added to the participants list. Please sign up by February 13th, 2009. Any later than that and this project will have already started.

Please see the rules below to find out what else is expected of you as a participant:

1 ) Your entry(ies) MUST include both Gohan and Videl. Their relationship doesn't necessarily have to be romantic, but they should each be present.

Additionally, you may include other characters in your work(s), but GhVi must be front and center.

2 ) You must submit at LEAST one work of GhVi art/fiction on each day of this week. Feel free to post more than one (to both art and fiction sections, if you like), but be aware that you need to participate in some way, shape or form every day.

**NOTE: If your entry arguably works for two themes, you can only submit it for ONE. (ie, though GhVi eating chocolate-covered strawberries in bed could possibly work for both Lust and Gluttony, you can only submit the idea to ONE of the aforementioned themes.)

3 ) You can submit ANY form of art/fiction that you like as long as it follows the designated theme. This means that your entry(ies) can be CG art, traditional art, comic strips/pages, AMVs, sketches, lineart, avatars, wallpapers, short stories, epic stories, poetry, drabbles, songs, etc (anything you can think of, pretty much).

4 ) Your art/fiction must be brand spankin' NEW! There's already a bunch of great GhVi fandom out there, but this is a project designed to create more of it, so submitting art/fiction that's already been posted elsewhere kinda defeats our point.

5 ) Once you submit your entry(ies) to your profile, let us know via note/comment and we'll add you to our running list of submissions and add you to our favorites gallery (the list will only be present on Videl-Gohan, but both this group and SweetestIrony will be adding the entries to their favorites).

6 ) Mature art/fiction IS acceptable. However, we DO strongly suggest that you place anything R-rated and above under a Mature filter in accordance with site rules and regulations.

7 ) Your submission(s) must be turned in by midnight (EST) of its designated day. This will ensure that we don't get the wrong themes on the wrong days (ie, we can't have an entry for Lust turned in on the day designated for Gluttony, can we?)

8 ) Have fun and be creative! Aside from bulking up the GhVi fandom, this is the primary function of GohanVidel Week ^^
